The WLA Buddhist Temple Yard Sale is an annual fund-raising event for our 80+ Lunch Program. The donations provided by our members and the community have helped sustain this wonderful service.

Donation information: Please call the temple before dropping off your contribution(s). If you would like a receipt, please provide a list of items, along with your name and address, and the Yard Sale Committee will send a receipt. Items such as mattresses, computers, and large TVs cannot be accepted.

However, if you need to have your electronic equipment properly recycled, you can drop off your goods at UCLA’s SAFE COLLECTION CENTER at 550 Charles E. Young Dr. West, Los Angeles, CA 90095 on Saturdays from 8am to 2pm. Download the UCLA S.A.F.E. COLLECTION CENTER information flyer  for more information and see the list of accepted items.

It’s the wonderful group effort and hard work that make this a successful event each year. We appreciate all the help from our members, various organizations, friends, and our community. Thank you for your generous donations. They are treasures for our customers who line up outside our Temple gate hours before the start of the sale in search of quality items at a great bargain. We are very fortunate to have everyones support and such loyal customers.
